The Wauwatosa Historical Society, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) educational organization, supports, encourages, and provides historical education and preservation for the Wauwatosa community. The historical society consists of the Kneeland-Walker House and The Little Red Store. It is the mission of the Wauwatosa Historical Society to honor, educate, preserve and engage in the community through events like the Speaker Series and Firefly Art Fair.
The Wauwatosa Historical Society provides a wonderful selection of walking tours around various parts of the city including The Village, Harwood Avenue, Center Street, and Church Street. You can also enjoy The Kneeland-Walker House that is open for tours on Wednesdays. Tours begin on the hour at 10:00 am, 11:00am, and 12:00pm. You can meet a guide on the front porch at your designated time. Make sure to explore the beautiful gardens before or after your tour.
