Where to Grab A Beer in Tosa

Nothing brings people together quite like a crisp, local beer. Luckily, in Wauwatosa, there are countless breweries, bars, and restaurants that specialize in getting the freshest brews right into your glass with every pour.

Stop into any of these must-visit spots (or assign a designated driver and try a DIY bar crawl!) during your next visit to Tosa.

Big Head Brewing Co.

Located near Tosa Village, Big Head Brewing Co. is a Tosa microbrewery that offers a rotating selection of craft beers on draft. Order 16 or 22 oz. pours at their industrial-style tasting room, or 32 oz Crowlers and 64 oz Growlers to go.

As an added bonus, they have darts, pinball, and cornhole for you to get your game on while you taste test some of their creative flavors of beers.

Camp Bar

For the ultimate Wisco experience, grab a beer at Camp Bar in East Tosa. This cabin-themed bar offers an extensive list of brews on tap, as well as domestics, imports, and microbrews.

Pair any of their crisp beers with their Campfire Bites for the ultimate evening out on the town in Tosa.

Draft and Vessel

Stop into Draft and Vessel for a one-of-a-kind Wauwatosa experience in a prime location. Sandwiched between Root Common Park and Hart Park in Tosa Village, the bar features a taproom for socializing, as well as a flexible space for hosting private events.

From stouts to IPAs, try any of the local brews on their extensive tap list from the Hops Court or Beer Grotto (outdoor patio with swings!).

Growlers East Tosa

Pull up a stool at Growlers East Tosa Craft Sports Bar and enjoy a selection of 24 rotating beers on tap while catching a game on their many screens.

Gathering Place Brewing

Aiming to be an extension of your living room, Gathering Place Brewing is a cozy brewery in East Tosa.

Aside from an impressive list of rotating beer on tap, the brewery also features an outdoor dog-friendly patio for you and your fur bestie.

Good City Brewing

Located in the heart of the Mayfair Collection, Good City Brewing is your go-to for grabbing a bold-flavored beer any time of day, from lunch to post-dinner drinks. Plus, if you’re walking through Mayfair Mall or Mayfair Collection, it’s the perfect shopping break!

As Good City’s newest location, their Tosa taproom features fresh, local beer and a scratch kitchen to order your favorite snacks, too.

The Landing at Hoyt Park

Hoyt Park is the jack of all trades when it comes to summer fun in Wauwatosa.

This local park features The Landing at Hoyt Park for snacks and beer, TOSA Pool for those hot Wisconsin days, Hoyt Park Bridge for an iconic Instagram pic, and trails for exercise.

The outdoor beer garden at The Landing features a changing menu of local and imported beers. As a bonus, it’s a great place to bring your pup!

Lion’s Tail Brewing

Featuring a 15-barrel brewhouse (so they can brew on-site!), Lion’s Tail offers over 15 of their very own beers on tap. One of many highlights of this microbrewery is its expansive outdoor Biergarten where leashed dogs are welcome too!

Plus, they have snacks on-site and frequently bring in food trucks.

Leff’s Lucky Town

With an outdoor patio almost as large as their indoor space, Leff’s Lucky Town is a favorite for grabbing a cold one. This casual spot has a lot of space to spread out and enjoy the day with friends and family.

Keeping things fresh, Leff’s is another locally-loved bar that rotates its extensive list of draft and bottled brews.
